Wow! We don't have clear trash bags here. Obviously, it so that trash can't be smuggled out of the country. And, your baby's plastic diapers are a matter of national security.

so the trash pickers have an easier time deciding if it worth their time to look thru the trash, ya know to find a persons' credit card statements and personal stuff, saves them the hassle of ripping it open and finding it full of dirty diapers or something like that.LOL

The clear ones are good for old leaves and recyclables, so you can tell what's in them. BUT, for garbage, now that's just gross.

Incase you accidentally throw out something..... you can easily see it thru the clear garbage bags!!!!
