How about using the Scarlet Letter and discussing pride and dignity and how a woman overcomes being ostracized and still managing to keep her pride? You could relate that to Invisible Man as well. Hester Prynne was a very proud woman and she managed to keep her dignity very well. Pax - C.

I'm assuming you have already read both the books, so I'm not going to give you a plot summary.

Both of those books deal with how society rejects those we find different from each other. The Invisible Man is invisible because of his race, Hestor because of her pregnancy.

UNSEEN MARKINGS thats what I would use sounds simple, but only if you are comparing the two books, I'll use it
