I need to know quickly, because I have a project due tomorrow. :-(

I opened a file that normally is about twenty pages long, but when I looked at it, I couldn't see any text unless I scrolled very quickly, and it had hundreds of pages! In print preview it had over thirty, and some blank pages that wouldn't go away. If I tried backspacing on them, it would only put words together on one of the pages next to it.

This sucks. How do I fix this?

Just because you need it quick, I'll tell you this trick i use everyday LOL
Fallow steps:
1.Open that desire file in whatever program you open usually.
2.In the menue bar(left top corner of window: File-Edit-View..)
3. Choose Edit
4. Find and Choose - Sellect All
5.Right click on Sellected text and do copy
6. Open regullar (default) Notepad
7. Paste
8. See what's in there (it migh't not look as text at all, some script language..). try, you must be able to see cleare text, so you be able to choose what you want and recopy to new notepad.
9.if you get what you want, just put all text together and do copy
10.Paste in Word (or what you use)
