I think the whole thing is ridiculous. Gay or not, who really cares? As long as she can sing, and sing well, then she deserves to be on the show. And in the article where it suggests that she shouldn't be on because of her professional experience, well thats just stupid. The point of the show is to find an amazing singer that America will love. It doesn't matter if she was a backup singer or not. If she's good, she'll stay if not she'll go, and she deserves to be there just as much as most, if not more so ( sanjaya go home!)

If she is or if she isn't...she is the most talented and humble contestant on their this year. I don't recall any news about Ruben and Fantasia being gay...I have heard rumors about Clay Aiken, but that hasn't slowed his popularity. The only thing that the 3 you compared have in common is that they are of the same race. No one is a "nobody".

No. maybe she just messed up the words. she was just singing for her girls back at home!! Believe what she says, don't just think whatever. she is just probably doesn't have a boyfriend/hubbie so she just hangs on with the help of her friends
