I know it is illegal, but if you could would you marry two wives? That is if they both supported that kind of setup.
Women, would you live in a two wife household?
It would not be the love fest most play it out to be but it would have certain economic advantages.
BTW There is a biblical basis for this type of marriage.

yes, the economic advantages, should she work outside the home, the additional help with kids, housework, and keeping up with hubby's "needs", it would be great - it's just too hard to find the right woman, if she's willing, she's not our type... I would not want her to have my hubby's kids, though, not sure why, that's where I'd have an issue, though...

It would have it's advantages (help with the housework, cooking, cleaning, children). If I felt like complaining about my hubby, there would always be someone that can relate nearby. Honestly, I don't think it should be illegal. Hugh Hefner is practically a polygamist and nobody comes down on him, in fact it is glamorized (The Girls Next Door). On the down side, I am sure that there are too many issues that complicate that type of relationship.

some men would love that idea, but too bad its illegal in some states and most likely the two women would never agree. in my culture, the older generation men can marry many wives, and my dad did, and it was very selfish, because he just didn't love my mom anymore, but wouldn't let my mom divorce him and because of us kids. i grew up around alot of fights, and became really insecure about myself. so really, i'd kick my husbands butt if he wanted too. but in the case where the women agree, then thats something else.

Totally serious, if I could marry more than one man I certainly would. I like to be the center of attention, so being one of many wives wouldn't work for me!

I firmly believe any man or woman should be able to marry whomever they choose, and have as many spouses as they choose as long as their spouses are kewl with the idea as well...
Personally, I haven't met just one guy in a long time with whom there was a mutual desire to spend time together...I'm not the least bit concerned right now with trying to find more than one...lol!

I'm married now and if I could have another wife around the house doing house work and other wifely duties, I'd say hell yeah!

I probably would not, simply because I don't multitask well with relationships. And that being said, I wouldn't live with a husband that had other wives.
I do love the show "Big Love" though.

Why would anyone want 2 spouses.. don't you have your hands full with the first one?
I would marry 2 guys if ... they both had no voice box and I was the harem leader and they had to obey my every command.. the last thing I need are more socks laying around and dishes... no thanks!
