I imagine that divorce changes everyone, but not always for the better. There are people that are left bitter and angry. However, there are some that love the new freedom and are finally happy.

the answer to your question is to be qualified only by the person divorced and if the better is what is wanted. Divorce is the single most changing event we can go through and if the change that is experienced regardless of the reason is up to the person individually. Their cup will either be half full or half empty.

Sometimes it can but then again at times it does not. Depends on the people who are divorced and how they choose to get past it and to move on with their lives. It will either make them a better person or a bitter person. It is their choice.

Depends on if you learned something from it?
I learned What I felt for my ex wasn't love I know love now.

I learned a leopard doesn't change it's spots

I learned once a cheat always a cheat

I learned their are good women out there, but just like the women were so concerned with looks, etc that we miss what's truly inside.

I learned that there are women who can trust, love unconditionally, be hot in bed, and still a lady, hold a job, and like to mow the grass.

Those are just some of the lessons I learned. Do you have a list?

Sometimes, but not always. My ex has not become any nicer, I just don't have to deal with him daily. Other people may see their mistakes, learn from them, and make changes in their life.
