Well, since Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Germany and Canada all cooperate with the civilized world in fighting radical islamic jihadist terrorists, and since AlQaida was largely headquartered in Afghanistan along with its leadership, do you think we should have invaded Florida since many of the terrorists resided there before 9-11?
Iraq was also a hostile regime which the world community, (including almost every US democrat) was convinced posed a threat, so the US congress voted to use force to remove Saddam from power in order to normalize an otherwise hostile regime in the middle east.
This war against us was started by islamic radicals well before 9-11, and we have to make difficult and agressive decisions because sitting back and waiting to see if they can top 9-11 is not the route we should be taking.

Or we could handle it like a liberal. Piss and moan, do nothing, ask the worthless people in Europe to help us (which they won't despite our support for them in the past), and then we wait for the next attack. We finally grew some balls, and did what we had to do, attack.
