i do not really understand the question, but would like to add some helpful info. "Spell Check", "Microsoft Word".

If you are asking which paragraph sounds better, well in my "opinion" it would be the first one.

But it needs complete restructuring.

People should not allow food to spoil for their children, they should change their routines to prevent this from happening.

If this was commonly a problem, we would see a lot more people losing their children, due to bad parenting.

I'm assuming that this is for a report of some kind. As a general tip, try not to use contractions.
