Yes, a lot, some from my own family, other times, I got into fights in school....grade school, middle school, high school, and early college.
And I did get my tail kicked a few times too, once really badly when I was in High School. If I hadn't stepped up for my kid sister, she would have been beaten down by a whole family, possibly raped...
So I stepped up, and held my own against an *amateur boxer* in the dead of summer on gravel....for all of ten minutes, then when I fell, I got dogpiled by the whole lot of them.
Getting multiple concussions and a partly dislocated jaw that is still clicky to this day *sucked rather HARD*.
But yeah....I've been through some violence in my life, most of it not my own doing. You can email me for more details if you want to.

Beaten up in the physically sense, no never. Beaten up in a battle of wits, oh yeah. I've gotten sucker punched a few times in that game.

the only time physically was when I got in a bad car wreck, other than that no thankfully

nope! once i got punched in the stomach by my brother when we were kids - but i dont think thats count
