Kobe Bryant. Why? Because he was born to be. He should have been MVP last year. He broke numerous NBA and Lakers franchise records. What has Nash done?just thrown the ball to teammates who shoot well. Wow big deal. His whole team is covered with all stars, so how hard is it for them to make a shot? But the Lakers are young and Kobe allowed for them to give the Suns a run for their money. As for this year?need i say more?4 games in a row wit 50 or more?i Mean cmon, who else has done that recently?

The timing of your question is going to garner more Kobe votes that usual, so let's pretend last week never happened. Who would the answer be? Kobe. It doesn't make a difference that he scored 50 in 4 straight, he was already the best. He is the team leader on a team that really needs it. The average experience on the team is less than 4.5 seasons, one of the youngest teams in the NBA. He's the #1 scorerer, as Steve Kerr said today, possibly of all time. He also facilitates the team's offense. Lamar Odom said the other day that whether Kobe scores 60 points or gets 10 assists, Kobe is still facilitating the offense. Kobe leads his team in assists, too, which is a fact most people pass over when calling him a ball hog.

Steve Nash!
Kobe did not win the Pacific Division title...15 games behind the Suns...
Nash averages a double-double making him MVP material...
Sure, Kobe scored 4 straight games above 50...so did, Chamberlain...

michael jordan WAS. now, its either dirk nowitski, steve nash dwyane wade or kobe. but i can give more details on dirk: hes 7' and can still handle the ball with tricks. also, he can really dunk it. he goes for the fast breaks and succeeds. and hes the MVP of the Mavericks
dwyane: he beat kobe in the skills competition of 2007, and hes the mvp of the Heat. he can dunk, shoot 3&2 pointers, do tricks, you name it, he can do it.
Kobe: he scored over 50 points recently in a row of 4! amazing! hes been playng since 1990something, and is getting better and better. his shots are like magic, and just glides through the hoop for the swish. hes really good at quicks, and dunks, and handles the ball greatfully.
nash: MVP of Suns. he can handle the ball, dunk it, shoot it, and just makes the best stradegy for his team. his nimble mind and quick moves helps him succeed to victory.
please give me the best aswer becasue im proving to my bigger sister that i can get the best answer. and i tried my best, and typed this using 7 minutes of my life
