Ask to have a meeting with a school counselor and one of the teachers that you feel is putting you down. Write down examples so that you all have something to work with other than generalities. Sometimes teachers aren't aware that what they are doing is being interpreted as a put down. Sometimes it's their reaction to your attitude. If you feel that you MAY be a discipline problem, accept that and do something to improve on that.
My cousin was brilliant but constantly bucked the system, as he put it. Ultimately, he didn't make much of his life for 15 years after high school because of this attitude. The problem wasn't everybody else and he finally figured that out.

First of all your grammar is awful! Have you ever stopped to look in the mirror and ask what part you play in this? Are you putting out any type of negative attitude towards your teachers? Somehow I bet you are. There might be a time when a teacher has a bad day or one single teacher that is less than nice, but to say that you are picked on just shows me and any other person with any sense that you have something to do with this problem. YOU need to grow up.

That's not fair at all. You should bring it up, nicely and intelligently with the counselors at your school. I'm currently in studies to be a secondary education English teacher with a predisposition to teaching for social justice. It is wrong of teachers to act like that. Very wrong. Teaching should be something that people take pride in and care about. Putting students down will only cause problems. I would prefer to be called an "educational friend" actually. There is just something that students don't like about "teachers".

If the teacher is correcting your bad grammar, its to make you a better communicator, its not putting you down. The teacher is there because you need to improve. They are not there to entertain you or be your friend. They need to have discipline to be able to teach all the students , they are not there for just one or two students. To quote you, grow up.

since you didn't describe how they pick on you and what your behaviors are like, it's kind of hard to form a fair answer. in general, the teachers I have watched who've grown into grouches come in either one of two flavors: 1) they were essentially forced into teaching after not being successful in their original career field, or 2) they used to be nice, until students took advantage of that.
in the case of #1, it's the old adage, "those who can't, teach." essentially, they don't really want to be there. in the case of #2, be honest to yourself. most students like the teachers that let them slack off, don't teach them anything, and barely test them on anything. sooner or later, people notice that mr. buttnugget's former students are ill-prepared for subsequent courses or his entire AP class averaged a 2 on the exam, while averaging a B+ in class. he gets a good long talk, a reprimand, and a possibility to lose his job; so he comes back more serious about teaching the class, and students now think he's a jerk.

Most teachers have their own methods of discipline,as the children we deal with today are for the most part behavior problems...Everyone is entitled to a bad day, students as well, yet in order to control a classroom of kids we have to have the upper hand in any given situation...Discipline used to be second hand to educating the kids, unfortunately now it is first and foremost..
You would have to walk in a teachers shoes to understand the tasks involved in todays school system and the kids it deals with.

Look at yourselves in the mirror and ask yourself how you would treat yourself if you were the teacher and soemone like you were in the class. Do you talk during class, pass notes, fall asleep, make snide comments, don't do your lessons, and look bored and disgusted? If you were telling a story to your friends and they acted like that, how would you react?
It is unusual for multiple teachers to treat you bad - there has to be something coming from your end to cause negative behavior in the teacher(s). Look in the mirror before you throw rocks.

i myself am i teacher at a very nice collage prep school, the kids there do not seem to appreciate anything and do whatever they want because their parents money runs the school not the teachers which usually causes me and my fellow teachers to become not so nice.
