I wonder if Sanjaya knows that the only reason he is still on the show is because half of America thinks he is the worst of the worst? It would be really sad if he thinks otherwise (like his talent keeps him on the show).

I have been wondering that to. I think its sad that he is still on, and that he does actually believe he has talent. I think next season there gonna have to do something to change the voting and have it like the judges pick 2 or 3 that u can only vote out. that way the good talent stays. Hes there and someone good and deservies to be there has to go home because of vote for the worst... i think its wrong/joke personally.

I've been wondering the same thing. Doesn't seem like he knows, he's confident & he seems to be full of himself. Even so I doubt he cares, as long as people are talking about him & he keeps getting mentioned in the media, he's probably all for it. He may be a joke in the media, but all media attention is good attention. Sadly all of this is probably getting even more people to vote for him.

My husband thinks he is just acting and at the end he will shock everyone with how good he really is, then he will show those VFTW people how big of idiots they are. He isn't that great, but he isn't the worst.

I've been wondering that too. He seems to be getting more and more confident so I am kind of thinking he thinks he has talent. You are right, it is so sad, it is almost depressing.

I honestly think that it is what happened with his sister! Remember that heartwrenching hug and cry that they had when she didn't make it through the rooms? He sure had my preseason vote until he opened his mouth and started singing.
But....last week I really dug him!

If he didn't before he probably does now by the reactions of the people sitting on the stage with him. They were all shocked.
