The question was what is similar in STRUCTURE. RNA nucleotides are similar in structure minus the phosphates of course. Adenosine is a nucleotide! If the question was what is similar in function, the answer would have to be d. because an amino acid with phosphate groups (and high energy phosphate bonds) can store and provide energy like ATP.

Well im a biochem major in my fourth year and I would have to say c. ATP means adenosine triphoshate and looking at the selection, RNA nucleotides fits it. If you look at a structure of ATP, it has A(adenosine), ribose (sugar) 3 phosphates attached to it. Looking at RNA nucleotides it has the same sugare (ribose) with different modification in the A,G,U,C.
And to the first person with the anwser to the question, adenosine is not an amino acid but a nucleotide.
