You are going to be lots of different things, the average person your age will have five different occupations in their lives and several jobs within each of those occupations. SO dont worry about the future, decide what you want to be first and they others will follow. If you are 18 and dont have anything holding you back go for your wildest dreams, its the perfect time to try.

We've all been told that what we do is everything: how we are judged by the world really matters, but the truth is that the daily decisions we make are more important. If you're a banker, butcher or baker it might impress people, and some of those things might be enjoyable for you, but at the end of your life what will really count is how you navigated the daily challenges. If you decide every day that you have values and that they matter more than what people think of you, then you will have lived life well and courageously, and whatever you did to support yourself will really be insignificant.
Life will not generally reward you financially for having values, but in having values you will discover the real purpose in living. You will love well, and you will surround yourself with decent people.
My advice is to not obsess about career. You are probably good at many things and can make a decent living. Find something that you enjoy, and an employer that treats you fairly and then focus your energies on being the most decent human being you can.
That way you will be fulfilled, and your life will have purpose.

this is the best advise ANYONE has ever given me,

When you do what you LOVE , you will never WORK a day in your life..

What are some things you are REALLY into?
Sports- Coach Girls Soccer, Softball, etc.
Dancing- Major in the Performing Arts
R U a smarty-pants? like to argue? Be a Lawyer
Like animals? Own a farm, be a vet, or rescue animals with the ASPCA.
If you like helping friends w/ problems, be a guidance counselor.
Like to make brownies? Open a bakery.
The truth of the matter is There is a GREAT BIG WORLD out there, whatever matters the most to you...DO IT!!
As long as you are happy doing whatever it is you LOVE doing, you will NEVER go to WORK
