Our kids look up to and try to emulate celebrities. More and more you see them arrested for DUI's, possession of guns or drugs and for other crimes like domestic battery. If not that, then you hear of drug or alcohol abuse or steroid use. Have you lost respect for an actor or athlete? Another way to answer would be to tell me if there is anyone out there who seems to hold him/herself to a high standard regardless of the issues and temptations common to the celebrity lifestyle. I realize everyone faces hardship, but to be in the public eye and to have more money than most of us will ever see, I feel like they have a responsibility to set a good example for our kids. Think. Then give me your answer.

Colby Bryant. When he bought his wife a diamond encrusted Mercedes Benz, I thought about all the people who could have benefited from the money he spent on such a ridiculous extravagance. He is an extremely, capitalistic, hedonistic decadent human being.

I would say that Susan Sarandon has disappointed me most. I always thought she was a wonderful actress but she is so political and so hating of anyone by the far left Democrats. I won't go see any movie she is in anymore and if she is on TV, I turn it off. She was on a TV commercial for Macy's at Christmas and I didn't shop there because of her. She has every right to her beliefs, I just don't want to listen to her. And don't.

As for someone that sets a good example, I would vote for Reese Witherspoon. She is a good Mom and a very nice person. We never hear anything bad about her....only good. And a terrific actress as well.
