could be from the different food you are eating. Try eating food closer to what you eat at home. Take a laxative if you need to.

On vacation, we tend to drink less water for fear of going to toilet too frequent. This could result in constipation. Other reason is eating not enough vegetable and fruit fiber. Nutritionists advised each adult should take 20g to 25g of fiber per day. As such, drink enough water and eat enough fiber will help to prevent constipation.

Lots of people experience this due to the stress of travel, different food, water etc. The easiest thing is to bring some chewable fiber pills and take them before bed with a glass of water. They're not like laxatives, and won't interfere with your vacation activities. Below is an example of one brand, but there are others is most pharmacies and discount stores.

I think its just from being thrown off schedule. Also you probably don't feel comfortable crapping in a different toilet than your own. I know I have this problem even when staying in a hotel on vacation. Different bathroom and some travel related stress too. Get some kind of fiber laxative, stick them in your suitcase, when you feel the need to void, just take one.

YOu may be constipated because your eating habits are probably different on vacation. It might also be a change in altitude, like going into the mountains if your body isn't used to it.

Make sure you eat plenty of things with fiber such as whole grain foods such as breads, oatmeal, and cereal. Also, get plenty of fiber in you by eating fruits and veggies. Skip the juices and eat the whole fruit, like apples and oranges. .Just try to avoid processed foods and go for the real thing. YOu might also consider taking a fiber supplement while you're on vacation just tomake sure.

It could be from a number of things, If your eating different foods or foods that lack fiber and other natural ingredients that help you "Go" , IT could also be that you have issues using bathrooms your not comfortable with. Um other than that I'm not sure, what you can do to help is eat and drink things that are natural laxatives. Like my favorite saying, which i learned when I was young in the HOCKEY locker room is "APPLE JUICE MAKES YOU POOP" and it really does, other wise food high in fiber! Hope I was helpful!

it's totally normal
because you are not relaxed
bowels moving is related to the parasympathetic
nervous system which depends on relaxation.
in a strange place with a strange routine your
body is not as relaxed as usual hence the
constipation problem. i experience it too
eat 35 grams of fiber a day. fiber helps.

Eat more fruits and vegetables. On vacation you eat less healthy food than at home, so try to get a good balanced diet with salads and vegetables - not so much on the pizza and pasta.
