I'm 21 years old and married and my husband racked up alot of credit card debt before I married him and can only make minimum payments without me.....I cannot seem to get hired at a full time job that has regular hours so I can go to a few classes in the evenings or something...how can I go back to school and still pay his bills off??? Any ideas?

I agree with the first answer. It's HIS debt and he should be the one to step up and get a second job or a better job to pay it off and not have you missing out on a better education and job to help him pay his credit cards off. If he's not willing to do that, you may have to put off school until they're paid because if you work a full time job and go to school, too, you're not likely to see much of each other which could make your marriage suffer after awhile.

He should be paying his own debts off. Maybe he could pick up another job to take care of the credit card bills. BTW, I'd cut up his credit cards. Nice of him to bring credit card debt into the marriage, and now the debt is being paid off with marital assets.

Try grantham university they have online classes you can take. Ask for Camille Davis she can tell you what you need to get started. You can do it at your own pace. Tell hubby to get a real job and quit buying toys and get out of debt.
