Good question. I have "Luther" starring Joseph Fiennes, and I've watched 2 or 3 times. I've also seen the Jesus video, but it's been a while. If I had to choose one, personally I probably would choose Luther, because that story is not as familiar as the Gospels are, and it represents an individual who grapples with his faith and ultimately finds victory. I can relate. While the visual aspects of the Jesus video do add a certain vitality and emotional content to the Gospel, the story can as well be understood by reading the New Testament. I might give a different answer tomorrow, but that's where I sit as of this moment.

I have to say that I have not seen "The Jesus Video." I do own the movie "Luther" on DVD.
Let's say this, I prefer to watch the movie "Luther" and read about Jesus in the Scriptures.
