Are you all members of the S.C.A.? Have you registered your names and had them approved by the College of Heralds?
After that you can see about registering a household badge with the College of Heralds. In earlier years, that was about as "official" as it got.
Everything beyond that was within the households themselves, rather "official". Households can be functional and effective without s8888ing badges. :-)

well you need to start by finding out what households are in your area and which might be accepting new members. or are you trying to start a household of your own? I was a member of the shire of Myndd Saren, but i was also closely associated with oak haven household in strickenwood.
