what is up with american idol voting

I'd say it's the fact that 8 year olds are allowed to vote.

I think people are voting for him to make a mockery of the show!
Sanjaya Malakar, 17, is from Federal Way, WA. He auditioned in Seattle with his sister, who was eliminated at the Hollywood stage of the competition. Sanjaya says he started singing as a little boy and had formal singing training.
Sanjaya, who spent four years performing with the Hawaii Children Theater, claims he is a shy person and says "I'm scared that I'll never be able to walk into a supermarket without someone recognizing me." His music idol is Stevie Wonder.

I think that next season there should be voting for the complete opposite... who you want to go home, not who was the best.... the one with the most votes goes home and the one with the least votes stays

I have no idea but we all should write the network, write the show, write somebody, and make them make changes this is freaking ridiculous. The good people are going and the bad are staying something has to be done.
