Alot of different things could have factored into your bridge breaking. As far as getting it repaired, I'd just go purchase another guitar, because it will never be able to tune properly or the same again.

The second answer is absolutely correct. Bridges usually come off due to a guitar being left in a hot car or other hot situation. The glue lets go at around 120 degrees. It can also happen if the braces under the top start to let go due to dehydration. Usually in this case only the back half of the bridge lets go and sticks up. In any case, it is very repairable and any reputable shop should be able to do an adequate job (including proper intonation) for far less than the cost of replacing it. Make sure they also check your braces to see if they have let go as well.

Regluing an acoustic bridge is not major surgery. It happens because the guitar was subjected to extremes in temperature or humidity, or perhaps the glue just let loose.

In our shop, the average charge for regluing a bridge (provided there are no other issues) is $25.00 plus parts. It takes a couple of days for everything to set. Contrary to another answer, the guitar usually leaves the shop playing better than it originally did.
