If there is no point to it then why hurt their feelings meaning, if it doesn't run the risk of hurting anyone then a little fib is OK.
Example: Gina: "does this shirt look good with these jeans?"
If the outfit is not life or death, if she's not going out for an interview where that outfit would possibly get her the job then why crush her fashion scenes?
You: "looks alright to me."

Unfortunately yes. I have a habit of saying things before I actually think them through and then end up regretting it after. I like people to be honest with me so I am honest with them. Sometimes to a fault. But I am working on it.

Always, because that way I never have to remember any lies, and also because then everyone knows they can trust me to tell the truth. The people whose feelings are hurt by the truth aren't the people you want in your life anyway. They're too sensitive, they are unrealistic, and you will never be able to freely speak your mind in front of them. That sucks.

:)

I am honest, but I try to do it in a polite fashion....most of the time unless they are a complete tool.
