I'm a female and I've never worn a dress nor do I plan on doing so. I have always been the type to grab a pair of American Eagle/GAP jeans and a band/car/game t-shirt on, which is what happens to be what my closet consists of. I have a job interview that is semi-formal and I have no idea on what I could wear that isn't a dress or skirt that would be considered such and yet still look good on me.

I don't wear dresses...and I am 19...lol so please don't say things that would suit an older person.

I considered this to be a business casual interview.

You should wear a nice long sleeved blouse, black slacks, trouser socks, 2'' heels. If the blouse is sheer, a camosile under neath the blouse. If the job is dealing with the public, make sure you are wearing a bra too.

Good Luck.

A nice pair of dress pants will work. I'm not big on wearing skirts or dresses either, so I have a few pair of dress pants on hand. You'll probably be better buying black pants since you could pair any sort of top with them. For your top go with a nice button down shirt (since it's the spring time, go with spring colors...light blues, greens, pinks. etc). And to finish your look off go with a nice pair of close toed shoes. If you can do pumps, that's fine. If not, you can do a pair of smaller heels. Hope this helps and good luck on your interview.

you may need to invest in a dress or skirt for this ocassion. while some interviewers accept u in pants, not all will do. 2 b on the safe side wear a dress or skirt suit. if u must wear pants b sure to wear a tailored pants suit. pastel or dark shade ,shoes not slippers, comb hair away from face. no bright makeup. all the best

ummmm

try a pair of mocha linen pants with a matching jacket paired with a lemon yellow top (possibly a cami) with pointy 3 in. heeled boots and a large hobo bag

or if u like the "black is perfect" u may prefer a silk soft black sleeveless top, a pair of straight leg dress pants with a light vertical lines, and a velvet blazer to complete the look... pair it with a pair of peeptoes and a french mani. u will b set

if u feel like u wanna give the skirt thing a try, then b sure to wax yr legs first (lolololol) ... be-caz it is an interview u may wanna kept teh skirt below the knee.... but nawt all teh way to teh ground (LOLOLOL) and depending on the skirt colour choose a top....

Hair : i would advise u to keep it in a simple ponytail b-caz it screams confidence and smartness or in a loose bun

I wouldn't wear anything I was not comfortable in. It may affect your interview.
How about nice simple dark color pants and a conservative blouse? If it's not too warm a light simple jacket would look nice.
I am a jeans person too and hate interviews and dressing for them !
good luck
