I wanted to see "night at the museum" but I got to watch the newest remake of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles instead, One of the reasons why I wanted to watch "night at the museum" was because of the Tyrannosaurus Rex Skeleton. The thing I find funny is that when the guy at the museum sees something for a little while, anything he sees comes to life, so what is the main idea for the movie?

ben stiller's character, larry daley, has had trouble keeping jobs because he's wanted to fulfill his dream as an inventor/businessman...however, he's failed at everything he's tried and his ex-wife who shares custody of his son is getting more and more annoyed at his antics and forces him to get a job or threatens to withhold custody...so he gets a job at the nyc museum of natural history as a night guard, and everything comes to life after the museum closes because of a strange curse involving some egyptian tablet which gives things eternal youth and life, but none of the displays can be outside the museum by sunrise or they turn to dust...he ends up taking his son to the museum to show him what happens, only to find the tablet gone and nothing coming to life, and it leads him, his son, and the displays on a chase to find three former nightguards who want the eternal life that the tablet brings...i'll stop there

i saw the movie, everything comes to life after closing, the t-rex thing is cute, he just wants to play fetch with a bone, the guy spends all his time making all the museum inhabitants happy, he gives the cavemen fire, that sort of thing. you should rent it, it's pretty good, entertaining.
