no! not ever!, it's okay to have a crush on your proffesor but falling inlove means crossing the line already!, it's not really good to have a relationship with your teacher, i mean, what would your families say? , the faculties at your school, it's even worse if your proffesor had a wife and kids, so i'm not telling you to ignore, i'm telling you to watch out, ask your mom about it!

So wait...are you "in love" with your professor (like wanting an intimate relationship) or in love as in admiring and appreciating him for his gentle manner? The term is used very loosely today, and I'm just a little confused...

It's not a good idea. It would be unethical of him to do anything with you other than be your professor and advise you on your academics. He could actually get in trouble by dating you. That's good that's he's nice to you, but he shouldn't be your friend. He's your professor and shouldn't be anything more. At least, not until you graduate. Then you both can do whatever you want together.

In order for a relationship to work, both individuals must have 3 areas of their life satisfied. Those areas are spiritual, physical, and emotional. According to you're question, there is no physical attraction. Might want to ask yourself what you are doing.

STOP
Back away slowly.......
OMG do NOT go there.
Everybody gets a crush on a professor. Even the geeky ones can be so cute sometimes. But understand it is just a crush and you do not pursue it. You need to get out more.

hmmm...interesting question. Yeah..you could fall in love with him. Then you'd get a nice grade and after he pisses you off sufficiently, you could sue him for sexual harrasment!!! Not bad..eh? I bet your school has a nice insurance policy that will pay you at least 1 million bucks!!!

Have fun!

You can't help who you fall in love with. But don't get your hopes too high...things like this are not legal at universities, and it probably just wouldn't work.

It is perfectly legal to date him. But I don't think your parents would be very pleased

Admire him doesn't mean you like him.
