I am no Chris sligh fan, but what the heck is going on? What scares are the idiots who are voting because they hate him. I know stern is telling everyone vote for him. come on.
He is going to end up being some super freak like Michael Jackson (without the talent). I can see it now.

No kidding...he is like America's Funniest Home Videos...they choose the woman who gets her head stuck in a refigerator over the hilarious back flipping cat being attacked by a bird (one is a set up and the other is actually funny) He is a joke. Get some real talent in his place..but guess what? They know what they are doing!!! More people are watching now than ever before. 89% in the poll last night said he was "a joke" yet he stays. Do our votes really count?
And every night on lots of blogs, YA, and other sources including the water cooler the next day they are getting free word of mouth advertising..Yeah..Simon gets a new beach house.

I think people are voting for him to make a mockery of the show!
Sanjaya Malakar, 17, is from Federal Way, WA. He auditioned in Seattle with his sister, who was eliminated at the Hollywood stage of the competition. Sanjaya says he started singing as a little boy and had formal singing training.

What is going on is this:
So called 'reality' shows are anything but reality. They are classed as 'entertainment'. They are scripted for maximum dramatic effect, to keep you on the edge of your seat and stir up as much controversy as possible. These shows are about as real as most wrestling that you see passed off as sport.
