There's a lot of things you can try.

Go to bed at the same time every night.
Drink a warm drink like milk or even hot chocolate. Warm drinks can help you relax. Nothing with caffeine though.
Do a few minutes of yoga before bedtime.
Take a hot bath or shower before bedtime. Sometimes that will help relax me enough to let me fall asleep quickly.
Turn a movie on and lay down on your sofa and curl up with your dog if you have one. I've got a dachshund who LOVES to cuddle on the couch. As soon as you lay down with her, she puts you to sleep.

If all else fails....Nyquil or Tylenol Cold will help (but not too much, don't want to get addicted).

Try drinking warm milk, or taking a warm bath before bedtime. Also make sure you sleep in a quiet and dark room. It may also help if you don't drink caffeine after 2 pm.
