umm id find it flattering but id ask to get to know him first and it all depends on the way he comes up to me how i react if he just goes and says that straight out ill be freaked out. On the other hand if he tries to start a conversation before ill be OK with it and might even say yes.

Women love compliments. Start with a compliment but do not go for the obvious like "nice smile" or "pretty eyes". That all becomes "blah blah blah". Say you like the melody of her voice or the grace of her hands or read the 'Song of Solomon' in the Bible for inspiration.
Then ask her if she was going out on a date with a dud guy what kind of great date would make up for it. Then ask her out for that date and promise her that you will not be the dud.

id so go 4 it, but ud definitley double date n never b alone w. that guy cuz u don noe who the hell he is...he could b some serial rapist 4 all u noe, times r different, stay safe...id say if u can avoid it, odnt meet him at all [eliminate the risk entirely] but if u reelie want 2 meet him, make sure ur not alone w/ him, especially since ur a woman adn hes a man u get the pic? yea. safety first, don do anything desperately rash thatll put u on tomorrows 5 oclock news u noe wat im saying??? gud luck.....

If a guy wants to ask me out...I'd prefer that he just ask me out! lol Talking on the phone for a while can be okay...but until you meet the person face-to-face you never really know. Just make sure that you meet in a public place where she'll feel safe! :D Good luck!

I wouldn't just to be safe... I mean, in today's world, I don't think that's a good thing to do

That happens occasionally. And it doesn't bother me. I usually end up sleeping with him within 24 hours though.
