Waxahachie(Texas) residents only...?

My son insists that I'm mispronouncing your city's name...I say "WATCH-uh-HATCH-ee", he insists it's "WAHKS-uh-HATCH-ee"...

It's the old "you-say-potato-I-say-POTAHTO" game...I'm 100% right...or am I???

Please confirm...thanks(I hate to sound like a dumb Californian, but...)...
