your local auto parts store should have it, or be able to order it in a day or two. also, you will need a double flare tool for making brake lines, a single flaring tool won't do.

You may want to try your local Advance or Auto Zone. I buy it there all the time. In fact I have about a dozen rolls of it sitting on a shelf at my shop: 3/8" 5/16" 1/4" and 3/16". Of course with the road salt here in NY, we push tons of steel line. It sells like hot cakes. Maybe they don't carry it where you are from.
