CRC tables. 7.14 dens. Ductility and malliability are both totally dependant on purity. Often containing Arsenic as a contaminent, zinc melts and cools with a large crystal structure, something which renders it succeptable to cracking when struck or bent. Electro chemically rendered (high purity)zinc will be fairly ductile and also fairly malliable. Usually alloyed with aluminum and tin sometimes to produce a fine structure.(pot metal). Not great strength but very castable and machineable.

not sure about its ductility but it is very dense and very easy to dent, scratch or scar. it is used in some air conditioning units.
