In today's world, nationally and internationally, E.Q. (emotional quotient) is becoming more and more important. And it definately makes the I.Q. more efficient. And by strengthening your E.Q. you can/will improve your I.Q. by virtue of clearing out your emotional baggage. Alot of people have a high I.Q.(intelligence quotient) but are emotional unaware-as it were. It is easier 2 have a higher I.Q. than an E.Q. becuz it takes So much work 2 upgrade your E.Q. Especially for us men who have a more difficult time dividing and comprehending our emotions.

Actually, I think EQ is now more important than IQ because without people and good relationships with them, one's IQ won't be celebrated much.

There are people who have depressingly high IQ's but if one's EQ isn't even have of it, they might fall through the cracks.

Besides, IQ can be improved with better EQ. I mean, if I had an IQ of 135, if I had really good EQ, I could raise my IQ much higher.
good question.

Emotional Intelligence has to do with the outside world. With how good you use your resources when socializing.
Intelligent quotient has to do with a selfish resource, the inside world. What goes on inside your mind.
