executive branch is comprised of the president and the vice president. they have the ability to veto the laws and bills passed by the legislative branch (congress). They are the ones who nominate the judges for the supreme courty. The judicial branch is comprised of the court system, the only one allowed for in the constitution is the supreme court but today the state and appeals courts make the judicial branch up too. they have the ability to rule and law or bill passed as being unconstitutional but only if the case is brought to them by someone else they can't go looking for cases. they do not have term limits unlike the executive branch that can serve 2 terms of 4 years each.
