Do I have to get bonded to run my own business?

I'd like to own a game room, pool tables, arcade games, serve drinks and icecream and snacks, Is there a website that gives the requirements for this or do you know anything about getting bonded? I live in TN. Also want to know for VA. USA

If I don't need to get bonded than what is getting bonded? Also can a felon get bonded?

You do not need to be bonded. As in any business you should carry plenty of liability insurance to cover your business functions.

It doesnt seem u need to be bonded as u are handeling ur own money.
