No its not fine. Average heart beats per minute is 70-75. The more active you are in life the lower the number will be. The less active you are the higher the number will be or you may have high blood pressure or a heart condition.

Yeah it's fine. If you've just ran around the block ! You might want to see a doctor, and ASAP ! That's way high for an at rest heart rate.People in really good shape have a much lower heart rate. I'd be concerned if mine was over 70.

Actually it's not really that high. Definitely not a dangerous rate, anyway. A normal range for adults is 60-100.

Many things can elevate it, such as caffeine, smoking, exercise, being overweight or having a sedentary lifestyle, different medicines, stress, or illness.

If you're concerned, follow up with your family doc, and see what he has to say. Chances are, though, it won't need to be treated, if there is no underlying condition.

Reduce salt, sodium and oily intake. Absolutely no smoking or alcohol consumption. Healthy diet and active lifestyle , have vitamin based diet(potassium, calcium) oranges, bananas, raisins.. sounds a lot , but its a serious issue.
