i just got a intel 2 duo core computer, how is this different than the intel duo core. i already heard that it is 64bit, but that means sqaut to me since windows vista is 32 bit.
how does it effect my speed?

core 2 is a new architecture that blows everything else out of the water. Core duos were dual core, but intel sucked until they released core 2. Anything intel that isn't core 2 or a new xeon is worse than its amd counterpart.

If it's Intel 2 Duo Core ,you can play game on it with better graphic and speed.

Intel Core 2 Duo is double speed than Intel Core Duo.And intel core duo is single by itself so it is not as gd as intel core 2 duo.It will not effect yr speed instead fastest than intel core duo.

Having a dual core processor is kinda like having two processors. Should improve the speed of you computer somewhat. I read somewhere that Windows Vista actually runs SLOWER when you install the 64 bit version so I would think having the 32 bit software is fine.
