YES! Because I know how to float! You don't have to know how to swim to be buoyant. I couldn't watch anyone drown and live with myself. At least I would look for something to throw out to them so that they might have a chance!

No. I can't swim or life save. The only way I would go into a lake is if it was so shallow that I could wade in.

Is there anything else you could do besides jumping in to die as well? how about getting some help? Just because your friend is dying, you should jump in to die too...I think it's dumb. Get some help if you can't swim.

I can't answer that really, because to me there is no way I wouldn't be able to swim. If you throw a person who can't swim into the water, they'll f'in swim or they'll drown. It's just not that hard.

I'd toss them a long stick and pull them out. If that didn't work I'd call for help. If we were all alone and far from help, then I'd tell them to relax and float while praying for a strong breeze or current to blow them towards me. If that failed then I'd be pretty upset as my friend died in front of my eyes.
