I heard a story about a mother who took her daughter to a Japanese style restaurant, the kind where they through utensils in the air and cook (in a large fire) the food in front of you. You know, like a show. The mother and daughter were not the only ones seated there. There were at least three other parties. I heard mother told the Chef not do the show because the daughter would be scared! The other people complained, but mother insisted, so there was no show. Sadly I see a lot of stuff like this happen. What do you think about it?

Yes, parents spoil thier children too much. Look at the ridiculous sweet 16 parties and wedding people are thowing for thier kids. Go to your room (xbox, PS3, DVD, Cell , laptop, tv, etc)

I'm not sure that is showing entitlement. I believe that some people may be feeling that way, but perhaps the child had a medical condition? Or was very young? Maybe the parent did not know this was what happened at the restaurant?

If anything, the restaurant should have moved her to a different section or private seating, to accomodate both her & the other customers.

I think American women should not take their kids to such places and cause troubles! Cops should give tickets to them...
