Alright, I'll keep this short as possible. I'm 21 and I run a web design business. I'm single and have my own place. I have a lot of things I'm wanting to with my company, I have goals I plan to achieve and I have other projects I want to with other websites. I've been doing websites since 1998 and I completely love it to death.

Some of the things I'm wanting to do may require me to work on the computer 12 hours a day some times. I feel I may miss out on other things in life such spending time with my friends or meeting a potential partner. But at the same tme I have this drive in me to become the best at what I do which I set out to do when I was 12 years old.

What advice could you give me about my situtation? Thanks in advance.

Life is about balance, and if you don't take the time to "smell the roses", you will end up with a whole new set of problems.
In order to fulfill your dreams and goals, you have to have balance on the other side to keep you stimulated.
It's okay to want something so bad you can taste it, but don't make it the be-all, end-all. Make yourself a schedule in your planner and fit a little "fun" time in there. If you want to work a 12 hour day, take 2 hours out somewhere and use that time to meet with friends, go for a walk, take in a movie, whatever, but DO something.

I've been there and please trust my experience when I tell you that you need to MAKE time for other things.

A good resource for you is a book called Secrets of the Millionaire Mind by T Harv Eker. He explains the importance of this in seeking financial freedom.

Go with your dream right now, Make a billion if you can, You are young, you will never again have the energy to do what you are doing. Long hours are easy when young, hard later on, Make your money, build your foundation in life, the other stuff that interferes with this can come later.

Hi...

My solution involves working on your business and less in your business.

It's easy to make work everything..and lose contact with other aspects.

I'm mentioning a resource here that will help you create what you want...but I think hiring or outsourcing is the way to go.

"Follow your bliss" was said by Joseph Campbell and it can well apply to you. Your life partner may appear as a helper in your work.
