The belly wax?- I clean mine, but if you touch it it has an odor.

Try washing with hydrogen peroxide. The handy release of oxygen when it contacts organics and or infection should kill those nasty bacteria causing the stink, and lighten up any hair you have it too. I say that is a reason to be happy. So be happy and STINK NO MORE!

Well I clean mine with rubbing alcohol and Ive never had any complaints. But I'm assuming because that's where we are inside out.

Do you work around fish? You must based on your profile...and your travels.
It's hard to get the sea out once you have the bug...that's why it stinks...and If you are a drunk it doesn't help hygeine.
Don't worry I know of others complaining of such things

Something is wrong, it should not leak and/or smell foul, you have to see a doctor because this leak can become a chronic one if not treated early.
