Stuttgart is a cool place to go in B.W. if you can deal with the somewhat hard headed Swabisch Deutsch people. They are stubborn, I know it's hard to believe.
Schwarzwald, black forest is cool..
I personally think you've missed the boat if you don't consider Munich instead though. It rocks! The mountains of Bavaria are nearby, all kinds of cool stuff, Deutsche Museum has a huge facility with all kinds of cool stuff inside including a coal mine replica, actual trains, planes, old cars, a submarine.
And no, I don't work for the Bayerische Tourist Bureau.

A German province located in southwestern Germany.
The Black Forest is Baden-Wuttemberg's most popular, well-known tourist attraction.
I visited there last summer. I thought it was worth going to.
