Scarring can be a problem. I'm Native American and a lot of us have that same concern. I usually make sure I wash with Ivory soap if possible, but that can dry other peoples' skin out. You might want to try the Ambi skin line,it's for skin of color and works wonderfully. Their face washes, fade creams and moisturizers are excellent for that.

Have you tried any of the Ambi products? They are made for African American Skin. You can buy them at Sally Beauty Supply, and they sometimes have some at Walmart.

i know this will sound a little weird, but in seventeen magazine it had a home made recipe to clearer skin. It was 1/4 cup of brown sugar and 2 teaspoons of milk. I tried it and it made my skin softer and clearer. I stopped using it after 4 days because i forgot to make another batch and just used normal face wash. i guess you can try that

Dr. Murad's products are good. You might see his infomercials late at night or something. They worked really good for my skin, and he has a variety of products.
