I have several best mates and we all got together in the last couple off years at school, are all 33 now so have known each other 18-19 years, even though some have travelled some have moved away with work we always gravitate back to each other and carry on like we were never apart, now are settling down and having families in the same town as each other, it is a great feeling to have so many close friends.

20 years and only over the last 4 years the closeness has become less. In fact now we dont even communicate with each other. We used t o by email & msn messenger for a long time , but now even that has stopped

My best friend and I met in 3rd grade at the bus stop. We've been best friends for 10 years, played on sports teams together, even went to college together and are roommates.
Our friendship has only grown over the years.

I'm still friends with a couple of girls from Primary school that I've known since I was 4 , so 24 years I guess........We're not as close as we were but we still meet up for drinks a few times a year to catch up.

I had a close friend since childhood - she married before I did, but we kept in touch even after I married. She just had her third child, while I quit at 1. We got together several months ago, but it was difficult to see her so run down and not caring what she looked like. I still care for her, but I doubt we'll ever have a close relationship again.
Sad, huh?

28 years since my best friend moved next door to my parents, we have kept in touch the whole time even though I was gone for 4 years to Germany and now with time in the states & Ireland, we have never drifted apart and at least e-mail each other once a day or more!

my and my friend have been friends for 25 years. we are not as close as we use to be since we have gotten married and had children, but we still talk to each other every month and occasionally we get together when we can. we have known each other since we were 7 years old. even though we dont get to see each other, we still tell each other everything!!!!
