My kids have always said Po-Kay-Mon. They're really into Japanese culture and language, so I've always assumed they're right.

Personally, I pronounce it in a very, very demeaning and filthy way, but try something more like "Po-KEH-mon", I think the "E" must sound more like in "vEry".
