24/8 equals 24 divided by 8 which equals 3
so the answer to is 3 (a whole number)
24/36 can be reduced to 24 divided by 12 = 2
and 36 divided by 12 = 3
therefore 24/36 = 2/3
4/9 + 1/3 to add these the denominator must be the same on both. So what we have to do is change that 3 to a 9 but how? Mulitiply 1/3 by 3/3 which gives 3/9
4/9 + 3/9 = 7/9
9 1/2 = 2*9 +1 divded by 2 that is 19/2 and
5 2/3 = 3*5+1 divided by 3 that is 16/3
in order for us to subtract these two we need to get a common denominator in orfer for us to do that we have to multiply 19/2 by 3/3 and 16/3 by 2/2 which gives
19/2 * 3/3 = 57/6
16/3 * 2/2 = 32/6
now we can subtract the two
57/6 - 32/6 = 25/6 or 4 1/6 (mixed number)
1/4 * 3/4 to do this mulitiply the numerators and the denominator that is
1 * 3/ 4 * 4 = 3/16 and that is your answer

24/8= 3 divide 8 into 24 thats how you get 3
24/36= 2/3 divide the numerator and the denominator each by 12 and thats how you get 2/3
4/9+1/3= 4/9+3/9=7/9 Multiply 3 to the numerator and denominator of the fraction 1/3 and thats how you get 7/9 as a fraction
9 1/2-5 2/3= 13/2-17/3=39/6-34/6= 5/6 multiply the denominater and the whole number then add that number to the numerationr to get 13 over 2 do the same thing to the other fraction to get 17 over 3 then multiply 13/2 by 3/3 to get 39/6 then multiply 17/3 by 2/2 to get 34/6 this makes it so that the denominator is the same number for each fraction then subtract the numerators of each fraction to get 5/6
1/4 x 3/4 equals 3/16 multiply the numerator by the numerator then denominator by the denominator i believe...or the other option is to cross multiply so take the denominator of the first on and multiply it to the numerator of the second one to get 12 and then multiply the second denominator to the numerator to get 4 and then take the fraction 12/4 and divide the 4 into 12 to get the answer of 3
i hope this helps

there should be an online homework help..
i go to it.. but yeah i can help you ..
24/8 .... all you have to do is ask your self how many times does 8 goes into 24? which is 3.
24/36 .... for this problem ask your self what number can be divided into both numbers? well if you think about it is 12.. 12 goes into 24 twice.. and 12 goes into 36 three times..
so the answer is 2/3
4/9 + 1/3..... first you have to get the denominator to be the same... so since 3 can go into 9. mulitpy 3 times 3.. and the second fraction is 3/9... then add the top numbers.. bottom number stays the same.. the answer is 7/9
well you should pretty much get the rest.. you cant learn till you try yourself.. if you make mistakes.. its just a part of learning.. maybe next time ask questions or pay attention in class. good luck

24/8 =3 (3 times 8 is 24)
24/36 divide your numerator and denominator by 12 (the highest common number between the two, to get your answer.
2/3.
4/9 + 1/3. Multiply the numerator and denominator of the second fraction by 3 to get a common denominator, so you can add the two.
4/9 + 3/9 = 7/9.
9 1/2 : multiply num/den by 3 (from the denominator of the second fraction, 5 2/3: multiply the num/den by 2 (from the denominator of the second fraction). Then multiply your whole number by the denominator and add to the numerator:
9 3/6 - 5 4/6 = 57/6 - 34/6 = 23/6 = 3 5/6.
1/4 x 3/4 = multiply the two numerators = 3, multiply the two denominators =16, so 3/16.

24/8 =3
24/36 look for greatest common multiple
that would be 12
divide
=2/3
change 1/3 to 9ths
multiply top and bottom by 3
3/9+4/9= 7/9
change fractions to common number which would be 6
multiply 1/2 by 3 and 2/3 by 2
3/6 and 4/6
9 3/6 - 5 4/6= 3 5/6
do as is
1/4*3/4= 3/16
