ok , is your battery fully charged ? make sure your terminals at the bettery are clean rust free , there are many things that can cause this problem , but lets try to help you here , follow the cables comming from your battery to your starter, that is the positive side , or the red terminal, check it and make sure is not grounded (insulation on the cable is broken and touching the ground which is your metal parts ) sometimes this can be caused because the cable gets old and cracks due to the heat produced by your exhaust and motor , if cable is ok then try to see if your ignition components are ok , starting with the coil ,unlock your distributor cap ckeck the rotor is it ok , do you have spark on your spark plugs , loose led wire to your distributor , main ignition super fuse . try all this dont assume is yor battery . hope this helps buddy. also check your wire harness at the firewall .

similar thing happened to me, turned out it was the ECU

if it is your ecu, then you would know because,
1. In the past, while driving your car stalled for about a second then kept going , this would indicated bad capacitors in the ECU(car computer)

It may have also just been your gas pump or gas pump relay

the best way to know is getting a computer diagnostic
