Cant you get charged with attempted manslaughter?

yes, you can! Any injury to the fetus can be fatal. Which is interesting that you can have an abortion (that kills the fetus).
But if someone else causes the death of the fetus, they can be charged with manslaughter, and possibly murder!

lmao probably nowdays with all these new bull sh*t a** laws out here they keep adding more and more but what gets me my sons father who had a fourteen year history of domestic violence in 99 killed his then gf and got off with involuntary manslaughter and only served 5 yrs for murdering that girl . its sad how little the value of a human life but if you rape, rob, sell x amt of drugs u seem to get life how could u only get 5 yrs for strangling someone to death i dont get it and if u beat that preg girl and kill her baby u will probably get more time than he did

Depending how far along she is you can get charged with manslaughter if the child dies...

If you hit a pregnant woman, you can expect to be looking at attempted murder charges, unless you can convince a jury that you didn't know she was pregnant. Then, yes, you would probably be looking at manslaughter.

Why on earth would hit a pregnant woman? That's pretty sick.

Usually you would be charged with aggravated battery as opposed to battery which would equal a longer/more severe punishment
