First we should become self efficient with our oil, gas as well as ethanol. Then this region would have nothing to bargain with and it would hit them in the pocket book.

Bush will not attack Iran without a good cause.

Kensho sounds like the coward he talks about, I was in missions that had the US bombing IRAN 30 years ago, OK 27. But the peanut farmer was afraid that the beer would spill and had no way to deal with USSR. Thank Allah that Regan was no puss and told it straight. Iran, Ayatollah Khomeini was afraid of the American war machine then. The troops will fight some of them will die. Just remember America hates a looser, we love to win, nobody celebrates a loss. The school yard bully was hated by everyone not just the people he picked on.

If the US attacks Iran, it won't be sending troops. It'll just take a day of heavy bombing ( all airports, military bases, the one refinery they have and all main roads leaving the country) It will come from the Americans, the Brits and Israel. The Iran problem will be over. They won't have a chance to react.

The Shiites on Iraq won't be attacking the US troops more than what they do now, probably less, since their main source of weapons and IED's will be out of commission.

The Great Karnak was not real. He was only a character invented by Johnny Carson.

If you have some real insight to our dealings with Iran, you should be on Nancy Pelosi's al Qaeda warming trip.

We will not attack Iran. The mostly moderate population of Iran are not unfriendly with the USA. It is the ruling Mullah and the terrorist President - and his Revolutionary Guard - who are the problem.

Bush and Cheney have drawn up the contingency plans to begin sending the Boy Scouts over at the first sign of trouble.

Nothing because we won't attack Iran. What you're seeing is the beginning of another Cold War. An attack is exactly what Iran wants because if we attack them, the Palestinians will attack Isreal because, you know, the Jews caused everything according to them over there. (Just kidding so don't everyone jump on me here).

All the troops are screwed. Iran is likely to use dirty bombs and poison/kill thousands of Americans. It would be idiotic to attack Iran. We can hope that Bush will not do it.
