What? You decided to get married. That's the proposal! Why are you so upset over some goofy dance that the man must make? Are you some sort of control freak?
My partner and I decided to get married in a single conversation that ended with him saying, "So I guess we're engaged then." I was happy with that. The 'romantic' cliched proposal is not needed and what would be the point if you're already going to have a wedding??

Wow.
Men like the thrill of the chase....Don't be so willing to give in. If he doesn't want to get married, alright, don't worry about it. Let him be clear about the decision that he's going to make. You don't want this to come up down the road. Just let him know, we are supposed to be getting married in 2 mons...you've not proposed...do you want to go through with this or not? If he doesn't, you've saved yourself 25 years of pain and you can really start to prepare yourself for that one that would be happy to propose to you.
Just don't give in and force him, the right person will not run so easily, as it seems like he's doing.

If he didnt propose then how did you decide to get married??? WHen you decide to get married that is a proposal from either one of you and the other either accepts or doesn't. My husband never did the official down on one knee junk but that was fine with me...

how did you two come up in planning to get married without proposal. and seems your only one who is interested in getting married...i don't know what to say, but i think the man you want to marry is apathetic. wake up now before its too late. regarding putting the engagement ring, if i were you ,who heard " you will take it off", wow, insult on my part. where is my pride. i am not begging to marry him and forced to proposed anything. come on, don't let this man treat you like that. you deserved more. your precious. good luck

Take it off! Your bf would of never said anything if he wasn't bugged about you wearing the ring! Does he know it could of hurt your feelings? Let alone, are you sure the wedding is still on? Sounds to me he likes to control things!!! Not good! I hope you know what your doing!!!! I would take the ring off and not say a word. Let him take responsibility for some of his actions, he needs to, or you will always be catering to this man! You need his respect, not his demands.. Better think seriously on the whole issue. Good luck!

i married my boyfriend of 2 years - 2 weeks ago and he never proposed to me either, i asked him. either way , if you both want to be together the rest of your life than continue with the wedding , the proposal dont mean he loves you more or less. as long as you want to grow old together

How are you getting married if he hasn't proposed? You shouldn't have had children before you got married. Now he has no obligation to marry you.
