I know my batting staff sucks but my pitchers are good!

Rate my pitchers 1-10 and 1-100
Rate my batters 1-10 and 1-100
Then the whole team 1-10 and 1-100

You answered your question better than anyone else. Your starting pitchers are awesome. Nathan is a great closer and I think Fuentes may have a decent year by getting a few more saves. Dempster will be gone by May if anyone in Chicago can stay healthy long enough to replace him. However, your team is the classic example of why most experts will tell you to take power bats first. Morneau and Helton are your power? The only offensive category you have a shot at is SBs. Also, you don't have enough pitchers and will fall victim to the volume theory. I think you'll languish in the low to middle part of your league. Sorry......

Rating:
Pitching 85/100
Batting: 15/100

Pitchers = 10/10 / 100/100 Great pitching The best closer and the 3 best starters. And you have Flamethrower Joel Zumaya who might close this year.
Batting = 7/10 / 70/100 Your batting is pretty good too. Morneau is a stud. I believe Freel is going to have a big season this year. Zimmerman's not going to be as good this year as Soriano doesn't play there anymore meaning less runs to drive in. Kent i believe is highly underrated at the scarce second base position. You got very good speed in Freel, Taveras and Cabrera.
Whole Team = 9/10 / 90/100
Good team, You drafted some good players.\

Advice - See if Chris B. Young or Corey Hart is out there and dump Todd Helton and Brain Giles. They're two washed up players. Young and Hart are two up and coming prospects so not many know about them. Or try to get Russ Martin by trading Pudge and Helton/ Giles than picking Hart or Young up.

60 to start off
the +20 because of Johan Santana
He will put up big numbers as always.

90- Pitchers 9/10
60- Batters no will really stand out if u can try to get a Michael Young type player or even Ichiro. Not many people know about Young so you may be able to get him somewhat cheap 6/10

Pitchers-- 5, 50 great SP but too many 8th any pitchers. Need more closers

Batters, 51/2,, 60 2nd baseman Kent is injury prone, but good,, back-up is useless, out field is weak left side of field is pretty good. Catcher, pudge will see a decline

whole team,,, 5 1/2---55
